A Renewal Weekend for Married Couples
This retreat is a gathering of couples for a weekend of prayer and intimate time to explore the joys of our married lives.
The 2010 retreat will be held on Feb. 26 - Feb. 28 and takes place at the Mount Saint Alphonsus Retreat Center. The Mount provides a beautiful and serene setting that makes it possible for our couples to leave the world behind for a while. Its castle-like building is located on 400 acres overlooking the Hudson River just outside of New Paltz, NY, an hour drive north of Presentation.
This beautiful setting for our retreat provides you and your spouse an opportunity to join as a couple and enjoy precious time together away from the hectic demands of our busy day-to-day lives.
The retreat consists of a mixture of quiet time for couples, talks given by our team, and a number of services and activities centered on the sacrament of marriage. This rare opportunity for marital renewal and discovery in a setting of fellowship that only Presentation friends can provide. Arrival is on Friday evening Feb. 26, 2010 and the retreat concludes on Sunday after lunch
on Feb. 28. A mass is celebrated on Saturday evening.
We are limited to 50 people (25 couples) so we ask you to sign up as soon as you are able to by clicking on the "Signing up for Retreat" tab located in the left column of this web page. A $50 deposit is required, as the spots are filled on a first-come basis.
The total cost of the retreat is $370 per couple which includes two nights lodging and 5 meals. We’ll provide you with full details regarding the weekend schedule and logistics once you’re signed up.
